Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Valera Enterprises, LLC (“FunnelOps,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit getfunnelops.com (the “Site”), use our growth playbook, store audit, pattern library, or retainer services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly

  • Account information: Your email address, used for magic link authentication.
  • Store information: Your store name, URL, contact name, and any details you submit through our scan intake form.
  • WooCommerce store data: When you connect your WooCommerce store via OAuth, we receive read-only API keys that let us pull order, product, and customer data from your store for the purpose of generating your audit. API keys are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
  • Billing information: Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. We store the Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, plan, and billing status.
  • Communications: Email content and metadata when you contact us or book a call.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, slides viewed in your audit report, referring URL, browser type, device type, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies that are strictly necessary for authentication and session management. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate site usage. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Information from third parties

  • Stripe: Subscription status, payment events, and customer portal interactions.
  • Cal.com: Booking details when you schedule a discovery call.
  • WooCommerce: Order, product, customer, and shop data accessed via the read-only API connection you authorize.

How we use information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including generating audits and reports for your store.
  • Authenticate users via magic link login.
  • Process subscriptions and bill for retainer plans and pattern library subscriptions.
  • Send transactional emails (audit ready, billing receipts, account changes).
  • Send service updates and, if you opt in, marketing communications. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Analyze usage to improve the Services.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers (sub-processors): Vendors that help us run the Services, including:
    • Supabase (database, authentication, file storage)
    • Vercel (hosting and content delivery)
    • Stripe (payment processing and subscription management)
    • Cal.com (call scheduling)
    • Kit / ConvertKit (email delivery, where applicable)
  • Legal and safety: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FunnelOps, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: If FunnelOps is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Account and store data: for the life of your account, plus a reasonable period to handle disputes and comply with legal obligations.
  • Audit reports and findings: retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
  • Billing records: retained for at least 7 years to comply with tax and accounting requirements.
  • Backup copies: rolling backups are retained for up to 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR and CCPA / CPRA), you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your personal information.
  • Port your data to another service.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA / CPRA.

WooCommerce integration

When you connect your WooCommerce store, you authorize FunnelOps to access your store data via WooCommerce’s REST API using read-only credentials. We use this access solely to generate your audit and ongoing optimization work. You can revoke API access at any time from your WooCommerce admin under WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption of WooCommerce API keys at rest (AES-256-GCM), TLS in transit, role-based access controls, and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

FunnelOps is based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or through the Services.
